In the wake of devastating natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods, providing medical assistance to affected regions like Libya and Morocco becomes a critical and compassionate mission. The immediate aftermath of such events often leaves communities in dire need of medical resources, as injuries and illnesses can rapidly escalate amidst the chaos. Mobilizing medical teams, equipped with essential supplies and expertise, is paramount in ensuring the health and well-being of those affected. These teams can provide urgent medical care, treat injuries, and offer support to traumatized individuals who may have lost homes, loved ones, and their sense of security. Additionally, efforts can be made to establish temporary clinics and hospitals, bringing healthcare services closer to the affected population. By directing funds towards medical assistance in these regions, we can make a tangible difference in saving lives, alleviating suffering, and helping communities on the path to recovery.

We believe that being different is not a disadvantage, but an advantage and an opportunity. Difference is a unique feature of children, adults, and other living beings. But to see him without fear, you have to befriend him. One of our ways of discovering the diversity of the children in our care is to provide them with constant contact with nature. To discover and to see the beauty, to enjoy and calm. We know from our experience that they adore the mountain, with its coolness and walks in the forest, and the sea, which fills them with countless good experiences. Nature, silence, sun, and accumulated emotions during their camps contribute to the peace and enjoyment of their holidays. The stories about the moments experienced in nature is proof that even children with disabilities, whose most of their lives have passed in specialized institutions, can be happy, fulfilled and continue to develop. Through your support, we will provide the next holiday for 36 children and young people with disabilities and mental suffering, so that we can continue to provide them with the emotion of contact with nature and its tranquility, to develop their senses and sensitivity. True Love for Special Need Families , otherwise known as “True Love”, is a non-profit organization focus on providing love and support to kids with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Under the leadership of Kelly Shen along with the collective effort of other families affected by autism, they created True Love. The core values of True Love are to: a. Bring attention to special needs individuals in the Chinese American community; Increase the recognition, understanding and support of the challenges faced by children with special needs and their families. b. Build a social platform for these children and their families so that we can face these challenges together and grow as a community. At the same time, we seek to gather funds to support these families financially and emotionally. c. Provide scholarships along with volunteering and job opportunities for people who want to help special needs children. The organization will also provide medical assistance to Chinese communities. d. Develop a comprehensive living community for those with special needs to provide a place for them to work, socialize and live in for the rest of their lives by partnering with other organizations or companies. e. Increase communication between Chinese autism organizations, American autism organizations, and mainstream American society.

A powerful storm has triggered devastating flooding in Libya, killing over 11,300 people, with fears that the death toll will continue to rise as 10,000 people are missing. Around ten thousand people are still missing, and the country is in extreme emergency. The death toll is growing by the hour as more information emerges. At least 150 homes have been destroyed, leaving many families highly vulnerable. No matter how small, every donation can make a meaningful difference and bring hope to those impacted. In 2024, the Child and Space Association will celebrate its 20th anniversary. It all started in 2004 as a small organization, but the meeting with the children from the unfortunate home in Mogilino village transformed us into a provider of social services for children and youth with disabilities and mental suffering. Today we already manage 9 social services, with a team of 85 specialists and a very small administrative team consisting of 3 people. To mark our anniversary, we would like to organize a series of meetings where staff from our different services can come together and share their experiences, meet the children in our care and visit each other, show off and before society. Until now, we have not had such an opportunity. We also want to share with society our successes, knowledge and experience, to present our teams and our grown-up children, who are now young people looking for opportunities for realization. Since August 2021, the Taliban banned education for girls above 6th grade in Afghanistan. This put a stop to school projects in the region led by Sahar. Instead of giving up on the girls of the region, we have embraced new ways of working with local teachers and organizations to improve equity for girls in Afghanistan through multiple programs in partnership with local organizations. Current programs focus on literacy, computer skills, English, women's empowerment, sewing, and coding! Education is a fundamental right that should be accessible to everyone, regardless of gender. However, in Afghanistan, women and girls have faced numerous educational challenges. Helping to educate women and girls in Afghanistan is a matter of equal rights and a critical step toward building a brighter and more inclusive future for the country. Investing in girls' education can empower them to become leaders, change-makers, and community contributors. Providing educational opportunities to Afghan women and girls can also have a ripple effect, as educated women are more likely to marry later, have healthier families, and be active participants in the workforce. Furthermore, education can play a crucial role in breaking the cycle of poverty by equipping women with the skills and knowledge needed to secure better job opportunities. Our moral duty is to support organizations and initiatives working tirelessly to educate women and girls in Afghanistan as they strive to overcome societal obstacles and create a more equitable society. The campaign is aimed at lonely elderly and seriously ill individuals who are in need of shelter and support. We believe that in addition to financial assistance to meet their basic needs, they also require attention, care, and a touch of kindness. "The Gift of Hope" is an annual campaign with activities including: - Purchasing medicines, consumables, food, clothing, and other essentials. - Providing assistance with institutions such as social services, municipality, hospitals, and others. - Assisting in realizing various rights of individuals - legal, social, medical, etc. - Monthly personal visits to their homes. - Maintaining constant contact to build a genuine and personal connection. - Locating individuals who are significant to the elderly. - Upon request from the elderly individuals, providing assistance in finding accommodation in social institutions. - When needed, hiring personnel for hourly service - assistance with personal and household hygiene.

The Small Group Home for young children in Lyulin (Sofia, Bulgaria) was established as part of a project by a non-governmental organization in collaboration with Sofia Municipality. It comprises an apartment where children ranging from 5 to 12 years old are accommodated. All of them have some form of illness or mild disability, and their families are facing difficult socio-economic circumstances, making it challenging for them to provide adequate care. The children are looked after by a social worker and women who are with them around the clock. These children have now grown older. The oldest girl is 19 years old and attends high school, while the others are teenagers. The only boy among them, the brother of the 19-year-old girl, is 9 years old. Presently, three girls and three teenagers reside in the Lyulin apartment. They attend school and participate in a therapeutic workshop at the "Hedgehogs" Center, which is also overseen by our organization. Through donations, we provide them with opportunities for vacation and variety - every summer, they have the chance to visit the sea and the mountains. The sea, in particular, is their most cherished destination. These young individuals possess diverse interests, and it is our responsibility to offer them extracurricular activities that they find enjoyable, activities that will contribute to their personal growth and well-being. Thus far, we have identified several fitting activities that align with their interests, such as drumming in the Rhythm Workshop, dancing, swimming, soccer, theater, and more. To facilitate these activities, we require funds to cover participation costs, as well as expenses for transportation and an accompanying staff member. Within the Center, there is a woman who cannot leave due to her responsibilities in meal preparation, cleaning, and ensuring the children's attendance at school. An African proverb aptly characterizes our situation: "It takes a village to raise a child"! Through your support, we aim to provide our teenagers with their preferred sports and activities, enabling them to develop their skills, fulfill their potential, and experience well-being and happiness. Financial Goal: $4,000 USD (for one year, covering sports and engaging activities for leisure time for 6 children).

The purpose of this fund is to continue providing professional care and support for 10 children and youths with severe disabilities. We have attracted to our side the best kinesiotherapist (Rada) in the city of Ruse, Bulgaria with enormous experience. She is a teacher at the University of Ruse and has known some of our young people for 15 years. We would like to ensure her support and care for our children and youths with severe disabilities for another 12 months (for 2 years we received donations for her, as the municipality/state do not ensure her work). This is not just a fad. This is an opportunity to observe the children in their everyday life, in their usual environment. In this way, the postures that are most favorable for them are discovered, and the movements that are possible for them, as well as those that they can be encouraged to do, are outlined. An example of Rada's work is with Miss Violetta - The condition at the beginning of rehabilitation a year ago was difficult. Violeta has severe thoracic kyphosis, frequent nervousness, and insomnia. Standing up made her nervous; she couldn't walk, and she had a panicky fear of being in a different position. Now she fully cooperates during the rehabilitation activities: she can walk, sit independently and safely. She likes physical activity, it calms her down and brings her happiness, which can be read in her expression. We can say that she is making huge progress in her development – she plays fit-ball and likes to push a wheelchair, and during these exercises, she receives instructions that she understands. The results that are achieved are exceptional, not because we make miracles at the center, but because the real existing opportunities for the development of each child are used professionally. Through your support, we will continue to provide professional care for children and youths with disabilities so that they can develop their skills and reach their full potential, feel good, and be happy. Meet Nikola Tsolov, the 16 years old Bulgarian racing star on his challenging journey to Formula 1. He started his karting career in 2016 and became champion of Bulgaria in 2016 and 2017. In 2019, he won the Italian WSK Open Cup against 60 racers. He was invited by Fernando Alonso to drive alongside him in the 24h Endurance race in Dubai in 2021, where they finished third. Supported by Fernando Alonso, Nikola joined A14 Management and the Alpine Drivers Development Program, who grow and develop racers for the Alpine Formula 1 team. In 2021, his first year in F4, Nikola became Spanish F4 Champion with most wins, poles and fastest laps. This paved his way to FIA Formula 3, where he became the youngest driver on the grid and competed in 2023, driving for the ART team. Formula 3 races are held together with Formula 1 races and Nikola proudly wears his Bulgarian flag–painted helmet in the paddock and on the track, and hopefully on the podium too! But here’s the challenge: motorsport is expensive and Nikola needs to raise funds to pay for his participation in the Formula 3 season in 2024. The money are needed to: • Pay the team for the seat in the car • Equipment and safety gear • Training and practice sessions • Fees and costs for every race Nikola’s career and journey is funded by his family, who put their money, effort and time behind him and look for various sponsors.
